Train the Trainer
Train-the-Trainer is an optional consulting service that Pride For All provides for individual modules or all of its workshops, as requested. Train-the-Trainer means that the workshop participants (whether it be Safe Zone 101, 201, or the Advanced Transgender workshop) would go through an additional workshop to learn how to facilitate and lead the workshop in which they participated.
This additional program allows an interested individual or group within a particular organization or school to bring LGBTQ awareness workshops to their larger community.
On a consulting basis, Pride For All will help interested parties develop their own Safe Zone training programs by providing materials for both facilitators and participants, as well as providing one-on-one coaching to participants interested in developing their school’s Safe Zone program.
What do you get from the Train-the-Trainer program?
• Clean copies of participant materials (both hard copy and digital)
• Instructor manual outlining activities for the particular workshop including
o Step-by-step instructions for all activities
o List of necessary materials for each activity
o Workshop Outline
• Guide on how to customize a workshop for your audience
• Additional consultation on how to design and further develop your own Safe Zone Program.
